The Role:
As a Forklift Operator, you will be responsible for the safe and efficient movement of materials within our warehouse. You will ensure inventory accuracy and maintain a safe working environment for all team members.
Responsibilities
- Operate forklifts and pallet jacks to load, unload, and transport materials safely.
- Conduct daily pre-shift inspections of forklifts and report any maintenance issues.
- Ensure all warehouse operations comply with OSHA safety standards and company policies.
- Maintain accurate inventory records and assist with stock counts.
- Collaborate with the shipping and receiving team to meet tight deadlines.
- Keep the warehouse floor organized, clean, and free of hazards.
Qualifications
- Valid and current Forklift Operator Certification (required).
- Previous experience operating a forklift (counterbalance preferred).
- Ability to pass a background check and drug screening.
- Strong attention to detail and time management skills.
- Physical stamina to stand, walk, and lift heavy objects (up to 50 lbs).
- Basic computer literacy for inventory systems.
