Responsibilities
- Safely operate forklifts and material handling equipment to load, unload, and move materials within the warehouse.
- Conduct daily pre-shift inspections of forklifts and equipment to ensure safety compliance.
- Maintain accurate inventory records by tagging and stocking products according to company standards.
- Ensure the warehouse floor is clean, organized, and free of safety hazards.
- Collaborate with team members to meet daily production targets and shipping deadlines.
- Follow all OSHA safety regulations and company policies strictly.
Qualifications
- Valid Forklift Operator Certification (or willingness to obtain one upon hiring).
- High school diploma or GED equivalent preferred.
- Previous experience in warehousing, logistics, or Nashville TN style distribution centers is a plus.
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and stand for extended periods.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to operate with minimal supervision.
- Basic computer literacy for inventory tracking systems.
