Responsibilities
- Operate forklifts and powered industrial trucks (PIT) to load, unload, and transport materials safely throughout the facility.
- Conduct daily pre-shift inspections of forklifts to ensure equipment is in proper working order.
- Maintain accurate inventory counts and ensure stock is organized and accessible.
- Adhere strictly to all safety regulations and OSHA guidelines to prevent accidents.
- Collaborate with warehouse supervisors to meet daily production and shipping deadlines.
- Assist with general warehouse duties, including palletizing and shrink-wrapping.
Qualifications
- Must possess a valid Forklift Operator Certification (CDL Class B is a plus but not required).
- Ability to pass a comprehensive background check and drug screening.
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Strong understanding of safety protocols and material handling procedures.
- Basic computer literacy for scanning and logging inventory.
- Physically capable of lifting up to 50 lbs and standing for extended periods.
