Responsibilities
- Material Handling: Safely load, unload, and move materials using forklifts, pallet jacks, and hand trucks.
- Inventory Management: Verify and record incoming and outgoing shipments, ensuring accuracy in stock counts.
- Maintenance: Perform routine safety checks on the forklift and report any mechanical issues to management immediately.
- Organization: Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area in compliance with OSHA standards.
- Documentation: Accurately complete daily logs, delivery tickets, and inspection reports.
Qualifications
- Certification: Must possess a valid forklift operator certification (CP/CP/CO/CF/CD).
- Experience: Previous experience operating heavy machinery in a warehouse setting is preferred.
- Physical Stamina: Ability to lift up to 50 lbs repeatedly and stand for extended periods.
- Attention to Detail: Strong focus on safety and accuracy in inventory handling.
- Availability: Must be available to work flexible shifts, including weekends and nights.
