Responsibilities
- Operational Excellence: Safely load and unload freight from trucks using forklifts, pallet jacks, and manual lifting equipment.
- Temperature Control: Monitor storage environments to ensure strict adherence to safety and quality standards for perishable goods.
- Inventory Management: Perform accurate cycle counts and stock organization to maintain inventory accuracy.
- Facility Maintenance: Keep work areas clean, organized, and compliant with OSHA safety regulations.
- Team Collaboration: Communicate effectively with team leads and shift supervisors to ensure workflow efficiency.
- Equipment Handling: Conduct daily pre-shift inspections of equipment and report any maintenance issues immediately.
Qualifications
- Physical Stamina: Ability to lift 50+ lbs repeatedly and stand for extended periods in cold environments.
- Experience: Prior experience in a warehouse, cold storage, or logistics setting is preferred.
- Documentation: Must possess a valid driver's license and be able to pass a background check and drug screen.
- Education: High school diploma or GED equivalent required.
- Safety Conscious: Demonstrated commitment to safety protocols and workplace housekeeping.
