Responsibilities
- Operate forklifts and pallet jacks in a safe and efficient manner to load, unload, and move materials within the warehouse.
- Verify inventory accuracy by checking items against work orders or bills of lading.
- Maintain a clean and organized work area, adhering to all safety regulations and company policies.
- Collaborate with team members to ensure timely processing of orders and shipments.
- Perform routine equipment inspections and report any maintenance issues immediately.
- Assist in the organization of storage areas to maximize space utilization.
Qualifications
- Valid forklift operator certification (Class A, B, or C) required.
- Previous experience in a warehouse or logistics environment is preferred but not mandatory for the right candidate.
- Strong understanding of safety protocols and OSHA regulations.
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs repeatedly and stand for extended periods.
- Basic computer literacy for inventory tracking systems.
- Ability to work flexible hours, including weekends and overtime as needed.
