Responsibilities
- Operate sit-down and stand-up forklifts (reach trucks, order pickers) safely and efficiently to move materials throughout the warehouse.
- Load and unload freight trucks, ensuring proper weight distribution and securing cargo.
- Perform daily pre-shift equipment inspections and maintenance checks to ensure OSHA compliance.
- Maintain a clean and organized work area, adhering to all 5S safety protocols.
- Assist in inventory management by accurately picking and packing orders using RF scanners.
- Follow all safety regulations and company policies to prevent accidents and injuries.
Qualifications
- Valid Forklift Operator Certification (OSHA compliant) is mandatory.
- Minimum 1-2 years of experience operating heavy machinery in a warehouse or logistics environment.
- Ability to pass a background check and drug screen.
- Physically capable of lifting up to 50 lbs and standing for extended periods.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to follow written and verbal instructions.
- Flexibility to work various shifts, including weekends and overtime as needed.
