Responsibilities
- Safely Operate forklifts and material handling equipment to load, unload, and transport goods within the facility and to delivery trucks.
- Inventory Management accurately scan and verify incoming and outgoing shipments to maintain precise stock records.
- Order Fulfillment Pick, pack, and stage orders according to production schedules with high attention to detail.
- Safety Compliance Adhere to all OSHA safety protocols and company guidelines to maintain a hazard-free work environment.
- Maintenance Perform routine pre-shift inspections on machinery to ensure equipment is in proper working order.
- Organization Keep storage areas clean, organized, and compliant with warehouse standards.
Qualifications
- Valid Certification Possess a valid Forklift Operator Certification (Class A, B, or C) or be willing to obtain one.
- Experience Minimum of 1-2 years of experience operating forklifts in a high-volume warehouse setting.
- Physical Stamina Ability to stand for extended periods, lift up to 50 lbs, and maneuver in tight spaces.
- Technical Aptitude Comfortable using handheld scanners and warehouse management software (WMS).
- Attention to Detail Strong focus on accuracy in inventory counts and order processing.
- Communication Ability to communicate effectively with supervisors and team members.
