Responsibilities
- Operate Material Handling Equipment: Safely and efficiently operate forklifts, pallet jacks, and order pickers to load, unload, and move products throughout the warehouse.
- Inventory Management: Maintain accurate records of stock levels, cycle counts, and inventory movements using our warehouse management system (WMS).
- Safety Compliance: Adhere strictly to OSHA regulations and company safety policies, conducting daily pre-shift inspections of equipment.
- Packaging & Labeling: Properly package, label, and prepare goods for shipment or storage, ensuring damage-free transit.
- Cleanliness & Organization: Maintain a clean, organized, and hazard-free work environment at all times.
Qualifications
- Certification: Valid and current Forklift Operator Certification (Class A, B, or C) required.
- Experience: Minimum of 1-2 years of experience in a warehouse setting, preferably in a fast-paced logistics environment.
- Physical Requirements: Ability to lift up to 50 lbs, stand for extended periods, and perform repetitive motions. Must pass a pre-employment drug screen and background check.
- Technical Skills: Basic computer literacy and familiarity with RF scanners or handheld devices is a plus.
- Availability: Must be available for full-time hours, including potential overtime and weekends as needed.
