Responsibilities
- Operate electric and internal combustion forklifts to load, unload, and transport materials throughout the warehouse.
- Maintain accurate inventory records by scanning barcodes and using WMS systems.
- Perform daily pre-shift inspections of forklifts to ensure safe operation.
- Collaborate with the shipping and receiving team to ensure timely order fulfillment.
- Adhere strictly to all OSHA safety regulations and company policies.
- Keep the warehouse aisles clear and organized to prevent accidents.
- Assist in general warehouse duties such as palletizing and shrink-wrapping.
Qualifications
- Certified Forklift Operator (CFP) license is required.
- Minimum of 1-2 years of recent experience operating heavy machinery in a warehouse environment.
- Ability to pass a background check and drug screen.
- Strong understanding of safety protocols and material handling procedures.
- Physically capable of lifting up to 50 lbs and standing for extended periods.
- Valid Texas driver's license (Class B preferred but not required).
