Responsibilities
- Picking & Packing: Efficiently locate, pick, and pack merchandise using RF scanners and handheld devices to ensure accuracy.
- Order Fulfillment: Prepare orders for shipment according to company standards, ensuring all items are correctly identified and packaged.
- Inventory Management: Maintain accurate records of inventory and assist with cycle counts as required.
- Warehouse Safety: Adhere to all safety protocols and OSHA guidelines to maintain a secure working environment for yourself and your team.
- Equipment Operation: Operate pallet jacks, forklifts (if certified), and other warehouse equipment safely and efficiently.
- Team Collaboration: Communicate effectively with team leads and warehouse staff to ensure smooth daily operations.
- Quality Control: Inspect products for damage and ensure packaging quality meets customer expectations.
Qualifications
- Experience: Previous experience in warehousing, logistics, or general labor is preferred but not required; we will train the right candidate.
- Physical Requirements: Ability to stand, walk, and lift up to 50 lbs frequently. Must be comfortable working in a fast-paced, temperature-controlled environment.
- Attention to Detail: Strong focus on accuracy to minimize errors in order fulfillment and inventory counts.
- Reliability: Must have a consistent work history and be punctual.
- Communication: Basic English reading and writing skills for scanning labels and following safety instructions.
- Availability: Must be available to work flexible hours, including weekends and overtime shifts.
