Job Overview
As a Forklift Operator, you will play a critical role in our supply chain operations. You will be responsible for the safe and efficient movement of materials, ensuring our warehouse runs smoothly and meets our delivery deadlines.
Responsibilities
- Operate forklifts and powered industrial trucks (PIT) in compliance with all safety regulations and OSHA standards.
- Load, unload, and stage products accurately to ensure timely shipping and receiving.
- Perform daily pre-shift inspections on equipment to ensure mechanical safety and functionality.
- Maintain a clean and organized work area, adhering to 5S warehouse methodologies.
- Inventory management, including cycle counting and stock organization.
- Collaborate with warehouse supervisors and team members to meet daily production goals.
- Handle materials with care to prevent damage to products and equipment.
Qualifications
- Certification: Valid and current Forklift Operator Certification (OSHA compliant).
- Experience: Minimum of 1 year of professional forklift operation experience preferred.
- License: Valid driver's license and ability to pass a background check and drug screen.
- Physical Requirements: Ability to lift up to 50 lbs repeatedly and stand for extended periods.
