Responsibilities
- Safe Material Handling: Operate forklifts and pallet jacks to load, unload, and move materials throughout the warehouse efficiently.
- Safety Compliance: Adhere strictly to all OSHA safety regulations and company policies to ensure a hazard-free environment.
- Inventory Management: Assist in stock counts and inventory organization to maintain accurate warehouse records.
- Equipment Maintenance: Perform routine inspections of forklifts and report any mechanical issues to management immediately.
- Order Fulfillment: Prepare pallets for shipping and ensure all orders are picked, packed, and labeled correctly.
- Warehouse Organization: Keep the warehouse floor clear of debris and organized to facilitate smooth workflow.
Qualifications
- Certification: Must hold a valid and current Class A, B, or C Forklift Operator Certification.
- Experience: Minimum of 1-2 years of experience operating forklifts in a warehouse or industrial setting.
- Physical Stamina: Ability to lift up to 50 lbs repeatedly and stand/walk for extended periods.
- Eye Sight: Excellent visual acuity (corrective lenses allowed) to read labels and operate machinery safely.
- License: Valid Driver's License required for warehouse transport.
- Communication: Ability to communicate effectively with team leads and other staff members.
