Responsibilities
- Operate forklifts, pallet jacks, and other material handling equipment to load, unload, and move materials safely and efficiently.
- Conduct daily pre-shift inspections of forklifts and equipment to ensure they are in safe working condition.
- Maintain a clean and organized warehouse environment, ensuring proper aisle space and safety signage.
- Accurately pick, pack, and stage orders for shipping and delivery.
- Adhere to all OSHA safety regulations and company policies at all times.
- Communicate effectively with team members and supervisors regarding inventory status and operational needs.
- Assist in inventory counts and stock rotation as directed by management.
Qualifications
- Must possess a valid and current Forklift Operator Certification (OSHA compliant).
- Minimum of 1 year of experience operating forklifts in a warehouse or industrial setting.
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs repeatedly and stand for extended periods.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to workplace safety.
- Reliable transportation to and from the facility.
- Basic computer literacy for logging inventory and timesheets.
- Ability to work flexible hours, including overtime and weekend shifts.
