Responsibilities
- Operate forklifts and pallet jacks safely and efficiently to load, unload, and transport materials within the facility and to delivery trucks.
- Conduct routine pre-shift inspections of forklifts to ensure mechanical safety and proper functioning.
- Maintain accurate inventory records by counting stock and tagging items as required.
- Adhere strictly to all OSHA safety regulations and company safety protocols at all times.
- Collaborate with team members to organize warehouse space and optimize workflow efficiency.
- Perform daily cleaning and maintenance of the work area to ensure a safe working environment.
Qualifications
- Valid forklift operator certification (OSHA compliant) is required.
- Minimum of 1 year of verifiable experience operating forklifts in a warehouse setting.
- Ability to pass a background check and drug screen.
- Strong understanding of safety procedures and material handling best practices.
- Excellent physical stamina and ability to lift up to 50 lbs repeatedly.
- Must be available for immediate start and flexible shift work.
