Responsibilities
- Operate forklifts and material handling equipment to load, unload, and move materials safely within the facility and dock areas.
- Maintain a clean and organized workspace at all times, adhering to 5S principles to ensure safety and efficiency.
- Perform daily pre-shift inspections of equipment to identify any mechanical issues or safety hazards before operation.
- Handle inventory accurately by scanning barcodes and maintaining precise records of stock movement.
- Collaborate with team leads to optimize workflow and meet daily production targets.
- Adhere strictly to all safety protocols and OSHA regulations to ensure a hazard-free environment.
Qualifications
- Must be at least 18 years of age with a valid government-issued ID.
- Ability to pass a background check and a pre-employment drug screen.
- Willingness to obtain a forklift certification (we provide training for the right candidates!).
- Basic math and reading skills for inventory scanning and documentation.
- Physical stamina to stand, walk, and lift up to 50 lbs repeatedly throughout the shift.
- Flexibility to work varying shifts, including nights and weekends if required.
