Responsibilities
- Operate forklifts and material handling equipment (Counterbalance, Reach, Pallet Jack) to load, unload, and move materials within the warehouse.
- Perform daily pre-shift inspections of forklifts to ensure mechanical safety and proper functioning.
- Maintain accurate inventory records by scanning, tagging, and organizing stock in designated zones.
- Adhere strictly to OSHA safety regulations and company policies to prevent accidents and injuries.
- Collaborate with team leads to optimize workflow and ensure timely order fulfillment.
- Keep the warehouse floor clean, organized, and free of hazards at all times.
Qualifications
- Certification: Valid OSHA forklift operator certification (CDL Class A/B not required but a plus).
- Experience: Minimum 1 year of experience operating industrial forklifts in a warehouse setting.
- Physical Requirements: Ability to stand for extended periods, lift up to 50 lbs, and perform repetitive motions.
- Attention to Detail: Strong focus on safety and accuracy in inventory management.
- Communication: Ability to effectively communicate with team members and supervisors.
- Education: High School Diploma or GED equivalent required.
