Responsibilities
- Operate forklifts and material handling equipment safely and efficiently to load and unload shipments.
- Maintain accurate inventory records and perform regular cycle counts.
- Ensure the warehouse remains organized, clean, and fully compliant with OSHA safety regulations.
- Inspect forklift equipment for safety issues and report any mechanical malfunctions immediately.
- Collaborate with team members to streamline warehouse operations and meet daily targets.
- Adhere to strict safety protocols during all material handling tasks and hazardous material procedures.
Qualifications
- No prior forklift experience required; full paid training is provided on-site.
- Ability to lift and move heavy objects (up to 50 lbs) consistently throughout the shift.
- Basic computer skills and the ability to use handheld scanners and warehouse management software.
- Strong commitment to workplace safety, attention to detail, and reliability.
- Willingness to work flexible shifts, including nights, weekends, and overtime as needed.
- Valid Driver’s License is preferred but not strictly mandatory.
