Responsibilities
- Operate forklifts and pallet jacks safely and efficiently to move materials within the warehouse.
- Load and unload shipments, ensuring proper handling to prevent damage to goods.
- Inspect equipment for safety issues and report any mechanical problems immediately.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area in strict compliance with OSHA standards.
- Assist with inventory counts and stock organization as required.
- Follow all standard operating procedures and safety protocols at all times.
Qualifications
- Valid Forklift Operator Certification (Class A or B).
- Previous experience operating forklifts in a warehouse or industrial setting is preferred.
- Ability to lift and move items weighing up to 50+ lbs on a frequent basis.
- Strong attention to detail and a proven commitment to workplace safety.
- Basic math skills for accurate inventory and stock management.
- Must be able to pass a background check and drug screen.
