Responsibilities
- Material Handling: Safely operate forklifts and pallet jacks to load, unload, and transport materials within the warehouse and dock areas.
- Inventory Control: Accurately stock and retrieve inventory using RF scanners and warehouse management systems (WMS).
- Safety Compliance: Adhere strictly to OSHA safety regulations, wear required PPE, and conduct daily pre-shift equipment inspections.
- Documentation: Maintain accurate logs of inventory movement and report discrepancies to the shift supervisor immediately.
- Team Collaboration: Work cohesively with warehouse staff to ensure timely order fulfillment and efficient workflow.
- Facility Maintenance: Keep the work area clean, organized, and free of hazards to prevent accidents.
Qualifications
- Certification: Valid and current Forklift Operator Certification (OSHA compliant).
- Experience: Minimum of 1-2 years of experience operating sit-down and stand-up forklifts in a warehouse environment.
- Physical Requirements: Ability to lift up to 50 lbs repeatedly, stand for extended periods, and perform bending, twisting, and reaching motions.
- Technical Skills: Basic computer literacy and familiarity with warehouse scanning equipment.
- Background Check: Must pass a background check and drug screen as part of our hiring process.
- Availability: Must be available to work flexible hours, including weekends and overtime as needed.
