Responsibilities
- Safely operate various forklifts and pallet jacks to load, unload, and move materials throughout the warehouse.
- Perform daily pre-shift inspections and maintenance checks on forklifts to ensure operational safety.
- Maintain accurate inventory records by scanning tags and organizing stock in designated areas.
- Follow all OSHA safety regulations and company protocols to prevent accidents.
- Collaborate with team members to ensure timely fulfillment of orders and efficient warehouse flow.
- Assist in the organization and cleanup of the warehouse facility as needed.
Qualifications
- Valid Forklift Operator Certification or ability to obtain one.
- Proven experience operating heavy machinery in a warehouse or industrial setting.
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs regularly and stand for extended periods.
- Strong understanding of safety procedures and warehouse operations.
- Basic computer skills for scanning and logging inventory data.
- Must be reliable, punctual, and able to work flexible shifts including weekends.
