Responsibilities
- Operate electric and sit-down forklifts to load, unload, and move materials throughout the warehouse.
- Perform daily pre-shift safety inspections and maintenance checks on forklift equipment.
- Stack and organize inventory accurately to ensure optimal space utilization.
- Adhere to strict OSHA safety guidelines and company policies at all times.
- Assist in inventory counts and cycle counts using handheld scanners.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment.
Qualifications
- Valid Forklift Operator Certification (OSHA compliant).
- Previous experience in warehousing, logistics, or material handling is preferred but not always required.
- Ability to pass a background check and drug screen.
- Strong physical stamina to lift up to 50 lbs and stand for extended periods.
- Basic math and computer skills for logging operational data.
- Reliable transportation to and from the workplace.
