Responsibilities
- Operate Material Handling Equipment: Safely and efficiently operate sit-down and stand-up forklifts, pallet jacks, and other warehouse machinery.
- Load and Unload:** Maintain a clean, organized, and safe workspace at all times, including regular cleanup of aisles and dock areas.
- Inventory Management: Accurately count and record inventory movements using warehouse management systems (WMS).
- Safety Compliance: Adhere to all OSHA safety regulations and company policies, including proper PPE usage and lifting techniques.
- Quality Control: Inspect products for damage and report any discrepancies immediately to the shift supervisor.
Qualifications
- Certification: Valid Forklift Operator Certification (CST, PHL, or equivalent).
- Experience: Minimum 1-2 years of experience operating forklifts in a warehouse or distribution center setting.
- Physical Stamina: Ability to stand, walk, and lift heavy items (up to 50 lbs) for extended periods.
- Attention to Detail: Strong ability to follow written and verbal instructions and maintain accurate records.
- Availability: Ability to work flexible shifts, including weekends and overtime as needed.
