Responsibilities
- Safely operate sit-down and stand-up forklifts to load, unload, and move pallets and materials.
- Perform daily pre-shift safety inspections of all forklift equipment.
- Maintain a clean and organized work area, adhering to 5S standards.
- Ensure accurate inventory counts and proper labeling of stock.
- Follow all OSHA safety regulations and company policies at all times.
- Assist in general warehouse duties such as sweeping, tagging, and organizing.
- Communicate effectively with team leads to ensure timely order fulfillment.
Qualifications
- Certified Forklift Operator (Valid license required).
- High school diploma or GED equivalent.
- Previous warehouse or logistics experience preferred but not always required.
- Ability to pass a background check and drug screening.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to safety.
- Physical ability to lift up to 50 lbs and stand for long periods.
- Flexibility to work varying shifts, including overtime and weekends.
