Responsibilities
- Safely Operate Equipment: Load, unload, and transport materials using forklifts, pallet jacks, and other warehouse machinery.
- Inventory Management: Assist in the accurate counting and stocking of inventory to maintain optimal warehouse organization.
- Equipment Maintenance: Perform routine pre-shift inspections and report any maintenance needs to the supervisor immediately.
- Safety Compliance: Adhere strictly to OSHA safety regulations and company policies to ensure a hazard-free work environment.
- Customer Service: Prepare pallets for shipping and ensure orders are accurate and ready for dispatch.
- Housekeeping: Maintain a clean, organized, and safe workspace at all times.
Qualifications
- Certification: Valid Forklift Operator (CFOT) certification is required.
- Experience: Previous experience in warehousing or logistics is highly preferred.
- Physical Stamina: Ability to lift up to 50 lbs, stand for long periods, and operate heavy machinery.
- Documentation: Must be able to pass a background check and pre-employment drug screening.
- Availability: Must be available to work flexible shifts, including weekends and overtime.
- Education: High school diploma or GED equivalent.
