Responsibilities
- Safely operate sit-down and stand-up forklifts to load, unload, and move materials throughout the warehouse.
- Inspect forklifts daily to ensure they are in good working condition and report any maintenance issues.
- Verify inventory accuracy and ensure proper stock rotation according to FIFO standards.
- Maintain a clean and organized work area, adhering to all OSHA safety regulations.
- Collaborate with team members to ensure timely processing of orders and shipments.
- Follow all company policies and procedures regarding hazardous materials and heavy lifting.
Qualifications
- Certified forklift operator with a valid license (CDL preferred for certain roles).
- Previous experience in a warehouse or logistics environment is highly preferred.
- Ability to pass a background check and drug screening.
- Physical stamina to stand, walk, and lift heavy objects (up to 50 lbs) for extended periods.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to workplace safety.
