Responsibilities
- Safely operate various types of forklifts, including Reach Trucks and Pallet Jacks, to move, stack, and organize inventory within the warehouse.
- Load and unload freight trucks, ensuring accurate documentation and proper weight distribution.
- Perform routine pre-shift inspections and maintenance checks on forklifts to ensure operational safety.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and hazard-free workspace at all times.
- Assist with inventory counts and cycle counts to ensure accuracy in stock records.
- Adhere strictly to all company safety policies, OSHA regulations, and standard operating procedures (SOPs).
Qualifications
- Valid Forklift Operator Certification (OSHA compliant) is mandatory.
- High school diploma or General Equivalency Diploma (GED).
- Minimum of 1-2 years of experience in warehousing or logistics preferred.
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs repeatedly and stand for extended periods.
- Basic math skills for inventory management and scanning.
- Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work well in a fast-paced team environment.
