Responsibilities
- Safe Machinery Operation: Safely operate forklifts, pallet jacks, and other warehouse equipment to move products.
- Inventory Management: Accurately receive, stock, and organize inventory to maintain optimal warehouse levels.
- Load & Unload: Efficiently load and unload shipping trucks while adhering to shipping schedules.
- Safety Compliance: Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment by following all OSHA safety protocols.
- Quality Control: Inspect goods for damage and ensure accurate documentation of stock movements.
- Team Collaboration: Communicate effectively with team leads and warehouse staff to ensure smooth operations.
Qualifications
- Certification: Valid and current forklift operator certification (OSHA preferred).
- Experience: Previous experience in a warehouse or distribution center setting is highly preferred.
- Physical Stamina: Ability to stand for long periods, lift heavy objects (up to 50 lbs), and perform repetitive motions.
- Reliability: Strong work ethic with a focus on safety and punctuality.
- Background Check: Must pass a standard background check and drug screening.
- Availability: Ability to work flexible hours, including weekends and overtime.
