As a part-time Forklift Operator, you will play a crucial role in our daily operations, ensuring that our inventory is managed with precision and care while maintaining a safe working environment.
Responsibilities
- Operate electric and internal combustion forklifts to load, unload, and move materials within the warehouse and to shipping docks efficiently.
- Perform daily pre-trip and post-trip inspections of forklifts to ensure safety compliance and report any maintenance issues immediately.
- Maintain accurate inventory records by scanning and tagging stock according to company standards.
- Ensure the workspace is clean, organized, and adheres to all OSHA safety regulations.
- Collaborate with the logistics team to meet daily shipping and receiving targets.
Qualifications
- Certified forklift operator license (Class 1, 3, or 4 preferred).
- Current OSHA 10-hour General Industry certification is a plus.
- Ability to pass a background check and drug screen.
- Physically capable of lifting up to 50 lbs and standing for extended periods.
- Basic computer skills and experience with handheld scanners.
- Strong commitment to workplace safety and team collaboration.
