Responsibilities
- Operate Heavy Machinery: Safely and efficiently operate sit-down and stand-up forklifts, pallet jacks, and other warehouse equipment to move materials.
- Inventory Management: Accurately receive, stock, and organize inventory while maintaining accurate inventory records.
- Load & Unload: Load and unload trucks with precision, ensuring proper weight distribution and securing cargo.
- Safety Compliance: Adhere to all OSHA safety guidelines and company protocols to maintain a zero-incident workplace.
- Equipment Maintenance: Perform routine pre-shift inspections on forklifts and report any mechanical issues immediately.
- Order Fulfillment: Pick and pack customer orders efficiently to meet strict shipping deadlines.
Qualifications
- Certification: Must possess a valid forklift operator certification and be OSHA compliant.
- Experience: Minimum of 1-2 years of experience operating forklifts in a warehouse or industrial setting.
- Physical Stamina: Ability to stand for long periods, lift up to 50 lbs, and perform repetitive motions.
- Attention to Detail: Strong focus on accuracy when counting stock and handling merchandise.
- Driver's License: Valid driver's license is preferred.
