Responsibilities
- Operate powered industrial trucks (Forklifts) to load, unload, move, and stack materials in warehouses and storage facilities.
- Conduct daily pre-shift equipment inspections and routine maintenance checks to ensure safety compliance.
- Maintain accurate inventory records and log all material movements into the warehouse management system.
- Ensure that all loads are properly balanced, secured, and stacked according to safety regulations.
- Keep the work area clean, organized, and free of hazards to maintain a high safety standard.
- Collaborate with team leads and warehouse staff to meet daily production and shipping targets.
Qualifications
- Valid Forklift Operator Certification (OSHA compliant).
- Previous experience operating a forklift (Counterbalance, Reach, or Pallet Jack) is preferred.
- Ability to pass a background check and drug screen.
- Strong understanding of basic warehouse safety protocols and OSHA regulations.
- Physical stamina to stand for long periods and lift up to 50 lbs frequently.
- Basic computer skills for logging inventory data.
