Responsibilities
- Material Handling: Safely operate forklifts and pallet jacks to load, unload, and transport materials throughout the warehouse facility.
- Inventory Management: Maintain accurate stock levels, organize storage areas, and prepare products for shipping or receiving.
- Safety Compliance: Conduct pre-shift equipment inspections and adhere strictly to OSHA safety regulations and company policies.
- Workflow Optimization: Collaborate with the logistics team to streamline operations and ensure timely order fulfillment.
- Housekeeping: Keep the work area clean, organized, and free of hazards to maintain a professional environment.
Qualifications
- Certification: Must possess a valid and current forklift operator certification (OSHA compliant).
- Experience: 1-2 years of experience in warehouse operations and heavy machinery operation.
- Education: High school diploma or GED required.
- Physical Requirements: Ability to lift up to 50 lbs, stand for extended periods, and perform repetitive motions.
- Driver's License: Valid driver's license (Class B preferred).
- Background Check: Must pass a criminal background check and drug screen.
