Responsibilities
- Operate various types of forklifts (Reach Truck, Counterbalance) safely and efficiently to transport materials within the warehouse.
- Load and unload trucks in a timely manner while strictly adhering to safety regulations and weight limits.
- Conduct daily pre-shift inspections of forklifts to ensure equipment is in safe working condition.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment in compliance with OSHA standards.
- Collaborate with the warehouse team to ensure inventory accuracy and efficient workflow.
- Follow all standard operating procedures (SOPs) and safety protocols at all times.
Qualifications
- Valid OSHA forklift operator certification (OSHA 10 or 30 preferred).
- High school diploma or GED equivalent.
- Minimum of 1 year of experience operating heavy machinery in a warehouse setting.
- Ability to pass a background check and pre-employment drug screen.
- Physically capable of lifting up to 50 lbs and standing for extended periods.
- Strong attention to detail and excellent time management skills.
