Responsibilities
- Operate forklifts and other material handling equipment safely and efficiently in a high-volume warehouse setting.
- Load and unload trucks, ensuring proper weight distribution and secure strapping.
- Organize inventory and maintain accurate stock counts using our inventory management system.
- Perform routine safety checks on forklifts and report any maintenance issues immediately.
- Keep the warehouse floor clean, organized, and free of hazards at all times.
- Follow all OSHA safety regulations and company safety protocols strictly.
- Assist with shipping and receiving duties as needed.
Qualifications
- Must be at least 18 years of age.
- Ability to pass a pre-employment drug screen and criminal background check.
- Physically capable of standing, walking, and lifting up to 50 lbs regularly throughout the shift.
- Good manual dexterity and hand-eye coordination.
- Basic math skills for counting inventory and verifying tickets.
- Reliable transportation to the workplace.
- Willingness to undergo forklift certification training (provided by the employer).
