Responsibilities
- Safely operate powered industrial trucks (Forklifts) to load, unload, and transport materials throughout the facility.
- Perform daily pre-shift inspections of the forklift to ensure mechanical safety and proper functioning.
- Stack and organize pallets in designated storage areas to optimize warehouse space and inventory flow.
- Adhere to all OSHA safety regulations, company policies, and operational procedures at all times.
- Accurately document inventory movements and perform cycle counts as required.
- Collaborate with warehouse staff to ensure timely fulfillment of customer orders.
- Maintain a clean and orderly work environment to prevent accidents and hazards.
Qualifications
- Valid and current Forklift Operator Certification (required).
- Minimum of 1-2 years of experience operating heavy machinery in a warehouse setting.
- Ability to pass a background check and pre-employment drug screen.
- Strong understanding of safety protocols and material handling best practices.
- Physically capable of lifting up to 50 lbs, standing for long periods, and bending/reaching.
- Excellent attention to detail and ability to follow written and verbal instructions.
