Responsibilities
- Operate Material Handling Equipment: Safely drive forklifts, pallet jacks, and order pickers to move pallets within the freezer.
- Order Fulfillment: Accurately pick, pack, and stage orders for shipping while maintaining high quality standards.
- Temperature Maintenance: Monitor storage areas to ensure temperatures remain within safe limits for all perishable inventory.
- Inventory Control: Assist in cycle counts and stock organization to ensure inventory accuracy.
- Safety Compliance: Strictly adhere to OSHA safety regulations and wear all required Personal Protective Equipment (PPE).
- Load Management: Safely load and unload trucks using conveyor systems and hand trucks.
Qualifications
- Physical Endurance: Must be able to stand, walk, and lift up to 50 lbs repeatedly in a cold environment.
- Temperature Tolerance: Must be comfortable working in temperatures ranging from 10°F to 20°F.
- Experience: Previous experience in a warehouse or manufacturing setting is preferred but not required.
- Forklift Skills: Valid forklift operator certification (Class A, B, or C) is highly desirable.
- Reliability: Ability to work flexible shifts, including nights, weekends, and holidays.
- Attention to Detail: Strong focus on accuracy and organization.
