Responsibilities
- Operate forklifts and heavy machinery to load, unload, and transport materials efficiently and safely according to OSHA standards.
- Inspect forklifts daily for any mechanical issues or safety hazards and report maintenance needs immediately.
- Maintain accurate inventory records by scanning and logging stock movements into the Warehouse Management System (WMS).
- Ensure the warehouse floor is organized, clean, and free of obstructions to maintain a safe working environment.
- Collaborate with team members to fulfill orders accurately and meet daily productivity targets.
- Adhere to all company safety protocols and participate in regular safety training sessions.
Qualifications
- Certified Forklift Operator license (OSHA compliant) required.
- High school diploma or GED equivalent.
- Previous experience in warehousing, logistics, or material handling preferred.
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and stand for extended periods.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to follow written and verbal instructions.
- Valid driver’s license and clean driving record.
