- Operate forklifts and pallet jacks to load, unload, and move materials within the warehouse.
- Inspect equipment for defects and report any maintenance issues immediately.
- Maintain accurate records of inventory movement and stock levels.
- Adhere to all OSHA safety regulations and company policies at all times.
- Collaborate with team members to ensure efficient workflow and timely order fulfillment.
Responsibilities
- Safely operate powered industrial trucks to transport materials.
- Check loads for accuracy and ensure they are securely fastened.
- Perform routine maintenance checks on forklifts before and after shifts.
- Keep the work area clean, organized, and free of hazards.
- Communicate effectively with supervisors and warehouse staff.
Qualifications
- Valid Forklift Operator Certification (OSHA compliant).
- Minimum of 1-2 years of experience operating forklifts in a warehouse setting.
- Ability to pass a background check and drug screen.
- Physically capable of lifting up to 50 lbs and standing for extended periods.
- Strong attention to detail and time management skills.
