Responsibilities
- Operate Equipment: Safely and efficiently operate sit-down and stand-up forklifts to move materials.
- Inventory Management: Check and stock inventory, ensuring accurate counts and organization.
- Safety Compliance: Adhere to all OSHA safety regulations and company protocols.
- Maintenance: Perform daily pre-shift inspections and report any equipment issues.
- Load/Unload: Handle loading and unloading of freight trucks with speed and care.
- Warehouse Maintenance: Keep the workspace clean, organized, and hazard-free.
Qualifications
- Certification: Valid forklift operator certification (OSHA compliant).
- License: Valid Driver’s License and clean driving record.
- Experience: Proven experience in a warehouse or logistics environment.
- Physical Demands: Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and stand for extended periods.
- Attention to Detail: Strong focus on accuracy and safety standards.
- Availability: Willingness to work flexible shifts, including nights and weekends.
