Responsibilities
- Operate forklifts and powered industrial trucks (PIT) safely and efficiently to load, unload, and transport materials.
- Inspect forklifts daily to ensure they are in good working condition and report any maintenance issues.
- Verify inventory counts and maintain accurate stock records using warehouse management systems.
- Follow all safety protocols and OSHA regulations to maintain a safe work environment.
- Stack and organize merchandise on pallets or shelves to optimize warehouse space.
- Collaborate with team leads to meet daily production targets and workflow goals.
Qualifications
- Valid Forklift Certification (required).
- Proven experience operating sit-down and stand-up forklifts.
- Ability to pass a background check and drug screen.
- Physical stamina to lift heavy objects and stand for extended periods.
- Basic computer literacy for inventory logging.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to safety.
