Responsibilities
- Safely operate industrial forklifts and material handling equipment (e.g., reach trucks, pallet jacks) to move, stack, and retrieve materials.
- Perform daily pre-shift equipment inspections to ensure all safety protocols and functionality checks are met.
- Load and unload shipments accurately, ensuring proper documentation and handling of fragile or hazardous materials when required.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment in compliance with OSHA standards.
- Assist with inventory management, including cycle counts and stock organization.
- Adhere to all safety policies and procedures, including proper lifting techniques and seatbelt usage.
Qualifications
- Certified Forklift Operator (CFO) license or valid operator certification.
- Minimum of 1-2 years of experience operating forklifts in a warehouse or distribution setting.
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs repeatedly and stand for extended periods.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to follow written and verbal instructions.
- Basic computer literacy for scanning and logging inventory.
- Valid driver's license (clean driving record preferred).
