Responsibilities
- Load, unload, and move materials to and from storage areas using forklifts, pallet jacks, and other material handling equipment.
- Inspect forklifts daily to ensure they are in safe operating condition and report any mechanical issues immediately.
- Maintain accurate inventory records by performing regular cycle counts and documenting stock movements.
- Ensure the warehouse floor is clean, organized, and free of hazards to prevent workplace accidents.
- Follow all safety protocols and OSHA regulations to maintain a secure working environment.
- Collaborate with team members to fulfill orders accurately and efficiently.
- Operate RF scanners and handheld devices for inventory tracking.
Qualifications
- Certified forklift operator with a valid license (Class I, II, or III).
- Minimum of 1 year of experience operating industrial forklifts in a warehouse setting.
- Ability to pass a background check and drug screening.
- Physical stamina to lift up to 50 lbs, stand for extended periods, and climb ladders.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to follow written and verbal instructions.
- Basic computer literacy and experience with inventory management systems.
- Ability to work flexible shifts, including nights and weekends if required.
