Responsibilities
- Operate sit-down and stand-up forklifts (Class I, II, III) to load, unload, and move materials throughout the warehouse safely and efficiently.
- Conduct daily pre-shift inspections of forklifts and safety equipment to ensure compliance with OSHA regulations.
- Manage inventory accuracy by scanning barcodes and maintaining organized stock levels.
- Collaborate with team leads to optimize workflow and ensure timely order fulfillment.
- Adhere strictly to all safety protocols, including proper lifting techniques and traffic management within the warehouse.
Qualifications
- Certification: Valid and current Forklift Operator Certification (Class 1, 2, or 3).
- Experience: Minimum of 1 year of verifiable experience in a warehouse or logistics environment.
- Physical Ability: Ability to lift up to 50 lbs repeatedly and stand for extended periods.
- License: Valid driver’s license and clean driving record.
- Education: High school diploma or GED equivalent.
