Responsibilities
- Operate forklifts and material handling equipment safely to load, unload, and transport goods within the warehouse and loading dock.
- Perform daily pre-shift equipment inspections to ensure all safety protocols are met and equipment is in good working order.
- Accurately receive, verify, and store inventory using our Warehouse Management Systems (WMS).
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area in strict compliance with OSHA standards.
- Assist with palletizing, shrink-wrapping, and labeling packages for shipment.
- Communicate effectively with warehouse supervisors and inventory coordinators regarding stock levels and discrepancies.
Qualifications
- Must possess a valid Forklift Operator Certification (certification provided for qualified candidates).
- Minimum of 1-2 years of recent experience operating counterbalance or reach trucks.
- Strong understanding of safety regulations, warehouse operations, and forklift maintenance.
- Ability to pass a comprehensive background check and drug screen.
- Physically capable of lifting up to 50 lbs, standing for extended periods, and navigating a busy warehouse floor.
- Basic computer literacy for data entry and inventory tracking.
