About the Role:
As a Forklift Operator, you will play a crucial role in our supply chain operations, ensuring that our warehouse runs efficiently and safely. You will be responsible for moving materials, maintaining inventory accuracy, and adhering to all safety protocols.
Responsibilities
- Operate forklifts, pallet jacks, and other material handling equipment safely and efficiently to load, unload, and stack products.
- Perform daily pre-shift inspections and maintenance checks on forklifts to ensure they are in safe working condition.
- Organize and maintain warehouse inventory, ensuring accurate stock counts and proper placement of goods.
- Follow all safety regulations and company policies to prevent accidents and injuries.
- Collaborate with team members to meet daily production targets and shipping deadlines.
- Keep the work area clean, organized, and free of hazards at all times.
Qualifications
- Valid Forklift Operator Certification (OSHA compliant) is required.
- Minimum of 1 year of experience operating forklifts in a warehouse or manufacturing environment.
- Ability to pass a background check and drug screen.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to follow verbal and written instructions.
- Physical ability to stand, walk, and lift heavy objects (up to 50 lbs) for extended periods.
- Basic math skills for inventory counting and documentation.
