Responsibilities
- Operate forklifts and pallet jacks to load, unload, and move materials within the warehouse safely and efficiently.
- Verify inventory counts and ensure accurate stock placement using warehouse management systems.
- Inspect forklift equipment for safety issues and report maintenance needs to the supervisor immediately.
- Maintain a clean and organized work area, adhering to all OSHA safety regulations.
- Prepare pallets for shipping and ensure proper labeling and documentation.
- Assist with general warehouse duties including sweeping, mopping, and organizing storage racks.
- Collaborate with team members to meet daily production targets and deadlines.
Qualifications
- Must be at least 18 years of age.
- Ability to pass a background check and drug screening.
- Basic math skills for inventory counting and documentation.
- Good physical stamina and the ability to lift up to 50 lbs repeatedly.
- Willingness to learn and obtain a forklift certification if not already held.
- Strong attention to detail and adherence to safety protocols.
- High school diploma or GED preferred.
