Responsibilities
- Operate forklifts and powered industrial trucks to move, locate, and stack materials within the warehouse.
- Inspect forklift equipment daily and report any mechanical issues immediately.
- Load and unload shipments accurately, ensuring proper documentation is completed.
- Maintain a clean and organized workspace, adhering to 5S standards.
- Follow all safety protocols and OSHA regulations to prevent accidents.
- Assist with inventory counts and cycle counts as directed by management.
Qualifications
- Valid and current forklift certification (OSHA compliant).
- Minimum of 1 year of experience operating forklifts in a warehouse or distribution center.
- Ability to pass a background check and pre-employment drug screen.
- Physically capable of lifting up to 50 lbs and standing for long periods.
- Strong understanding of warehouse safety procedures and material handling best practices.
- Basic computer skills for logging inventory and operating warehouse management systems.
