Responsibilities
- Operate powered industrial trucks (Forklifts, Pallet Jacks) to load, unload, and move materials within the warehouse.
- Conduct routine safety inspections of the forklift and warehouse area to ensure compliance with OSHA standards.
- Maintain accurate inventory records and ensure stock is organized and easily accessible.
- Perform daily cycle counts and reconcile discrepancies with accuracy.
- Collaborate with team leads to meet daily production and shipping targets.
- Adhere to all company policies, including proper lifting techniques and material handling procedures.
Qualifications
- Valid Forklift Operator Certification (preferred but willing to train the right candidate).
- Previous experience operating forklifts in a warehouse or distribution center setting.
- Ability to pass a background check and drug screen.
- Basic math skills for inventory counting and paperwork.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to workplace safety.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and lift up to 50 lbs.
