Responsibilities
- Operate forklifts and material handling equipment (reach trucks, pallet jacks) in a safe and efficient manner.
- Load and unload trucks and trailers, ensuring cargo is secure.
- Perform inventory counts and maintain accurate stock records using warehouse management systems.
- Keep the warehouse floor clean, organized, and free of safety hazards.
- Adhere to all safety protocols, OSHA regulations, and company policies.
- Collaborate with team members to meet daily production and shipping targets.
- Report any equipment malfunctions or safety concerns to management immediately.
Qualifications
- Must be at least 18 years of age.
- Ability to pass a pre-employment background check and drug screen.
- Willingness to obtain a forklift certification (We will train you!).
- Good physical stamina and the ability to lift heavy items (up to 50 lbs) repeatedly.
- Basic math and reading skills for inventory management.
- Reliable transportation to the Portland, OH facility.
- Strong work ethic and ability to work in a fast-paced, temperature-controlled environment.
