Responsibilities
- Operate forklifts and powered industrial trucks (PIT) safely and efficiently to load, unload, and move materials throughout the warehouse.
- Conduct daily pre-shift inspections of forklifts to ensure mechanical safety and functionality.
- Verify inventory accuracy by accurately counting and logging stock using warehouse management systems.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment by adhering to all safety protocols and housekeeping standards.
- Collaborate with team leads to optimize workflow and ensure timely order fulfillment.
- Perform general warehouse duties as needed, including pallet wrapping and shrink wrapping.
Qualifications
- Valid Forklift Operator Certification (OSHA compliant) is required.
- Minimum of 1 year of experience operating sit-down and stand-up forklifts in a warehouse setting.
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs repeatedly and stand for extended periods.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to safety regulations.
- Basic computer literacy and ability to use handheld scanners.
- Must pass a background check and drug screen.
